Locale Found only in the Desolation of Shidar
Form Vine

Physical Description

Phoenix brush appears as long, ropey leaf covered vines that twist and coil all about, hanging from trees, laying across the ground and generally trailing all about rocks and hills.

Physical Properties

Phoenix Brush survives predators by its rapid growth. The vines grows as much as one meter each hour and will sprout up to 1000 leaves in a day.

Phoenix Brush is edible (although not very tasty). A desperately hungry man could eat this plant and stay alive for up to 2 weeks. It fills the belly and has some nutritional value. Not much, but enough to keep a person alive. It has a rather sour, bland taste. However, the tissues of this vine expands greatly when exposed to water. It's very easy to choke on this vine if it is not soaked in water first.

Geographic Distribution and Habitat

This plant is native to the Desolition of Shidar in Aggradar and is found no where else.

This plant grows only in the Desolation of Shidar.

The seeds of this plant have hard shells and pass through the digestive system of herbivores unscathed. They will sprout almost as soon as they are deposited back on the ground. This plant grows and reproduces almost as fast as it is eaten.
