This huge swamp, south of Cauldron Lake, is known for deep holes, cliffs and jagged, broken ground. Water is constantly flowing here. Waterfalls are everywhere, rain is common and a layer of muck sucks at boots constantly. Tales tell that there is nothing solid underfoot... only water, mud and rotted wood. Many believe it to be true. Paths are quickly erased due to these conditions. In fact, growth and change is so rapid, that maps of the Trackless Mire are considered useless. This swamp is home to several small saurian villages, the Mire Bandits, Shegrotha the Witch, various hermits and foul creatures better left alone.
