This is the common magical system used throughout the Thullian Empire by "common mages". It was based heavily on the old Ranyku system. Thullic was wide spread during the days of the Thullian Empire. Much of the magical literature found in modern libraries will be written in Thullic. Most mages in Ithria learn this ancient coding system. It is fundamental to most arcane schools in Ithria. There are even some mages who still code their spells using this system.
Ranyku is based on combinations of three primary components - the "sklar" (which appears as a half moon or crescent shape), the "iman" (which appears as a straight line with several possible embellishments) and the "sath" (the dot).
