Roeda is a rather crude system of magical glyphs developed by orcish shamans. It is one of the more basic coding systems and easily learned. Roeda is used widely among most orc clans. It is also used by goblin sorcerers and even a few saurian and ogre mages. Minor variations exist between different regions and clans. The Academy of War Mages teaches a class in roeda to better prepare war mages for conflict with orcish clans. On occasion the scrolls and books of an orcish shaman are captured. Other mages occasionally learn roeda to better deal with the orcs.
