Bloodbreath is a common and highly contagious respiratory disease. The most common symptom is coughing up blood. Other symptoms include fever, night sweats, shivering and weight loss. The disease is transmitted between individuals through coughing and sneezing. Bedrest and some herbal concoctions can aid recovery. The disease is most effectively treated by healing spells. The disease can be lethal for the very old, the very young and the weak. Those who survive are often left with scarred lung tissue and are permanently weakened from the experience. They are, however, generally immune to future infections.
