This annual event is a cultural celebration of battle, brotherhood and survival. The Jhakora is a great gathering of all saurian tribes in a region. Typically, there will be as many as five or six separate Jhakoras occuring in a year, one for each region. The Jhakora is usually hosted by the largest and strongest saurian tribe in the area. Each Jhakora will be a gathering of a dozen or more tribes. The Jhakoras are usually held in early autumn, but the exact date varies. The Jhakora lasts three days.
The Jhakora includes many forms of martial competition including wrestling, archery, team sports and swamp battles. Tests of bravery include fire jumping and blade tossing.
