Once each year as spring gives way to summer, the elves have a somewhat restrained festival that celebrates life, magic, the twin suns, Nature and the elven way of life that blends all these things together. There is much feasting and the wine flows freely. Formal stately traditional dances are held. Poetry is recited, songs are sung and magic displays are held. For many of the older elves, it is a time of quiet contemplation and reflection. Compared to the grand festivals and wild celebrations of other cultures, some might find the elven Ceremony of the Suns to be mild. However, the elves would have it no other way.
The Ceremony of the Suns begins on the first day of Landthrive and lasts for four days.
