Deth is the mysterious guardian of the Shrine of Lost Souls, a magical prison deep within the bowels of the Citadel. He is caretaker of the Shrine and master of that realm. He is a figure shrouded in mystery. Few have met him, but many know his name.
Deth is a lich. He is an abomination of unlife... a walking skeletal corpse of rotting flesh wrapped in a deep hooded robe. Very few have seen him. As a lich, Deth does not have a true gender. However, when he was mortal, he was male. And he is still referred to by masculine pronouns.
Deth is completely devoid of emotion. He is utterly soulless. He cares only for the Shrine and the wretched souls trapped within.
Deth is a skilled wizard and controls all magical enchantments and energy fields associated with the Shrine of Lost Souls. He also commands a group of lesser undead which guard the Shrine. He is skilled in necromancy, death magic and divination. He has little contact with most who dwell in the Citadel. On occasion, Caramus will come down to the Shrine of Lost Souls and have a private meeting with Deth.
